Breathing Mind, David Cornwell (SEP™) tarafından yoga hocalarını Mindfulness Meditasyonu uygulayıcıları olarak yetiştirmeyi amaçlayan programıdır.

In the Breathing Mind approach mindfulness not only relates to our thoughts and mental processes, but includes awareness of our emotions, and our bodily experience.
The simplest definition of Mindfulness is ‘present moment awareness with kindness’. In Breathing Mind we understand that our ability to be mindful is related to the ‘state’ of our nervous system. We cannot be mindful if we are in survival mode.
In survival mode our survival is dependant on feeling separate, being judgemental, evaluating our environment, where is it safe and where is it dangerous. Who is safe? Who is dangerous?
In terms of our biology, to be mindful requires a shift into heart centred awareness, what Stephen Porges described as ‘The social nervous system’’. For our autonomic state to display pro-social behaviour, to experience heart centred awareness, to engage the social nervous system, we need to feel ‘good’ to feel safe and well."
